That article could rankle the best of Titus 2 women with some of its expectations. Some of them are good, solid advice...but others really make my hair curl!

I was 3 months old when this was written; how does a wife clean up and change her children, have supper on the table and rest for 15 minutes before her husband comes in the door? Who watches her children especially if they're babies or toddlers? what's that about a husband staying out all night? But some of the others are part of my life.
Sister Sue
How about the two last ones, Sue?
*Don't ask him questions about his actions or question his judgement or integrity. Remember, he is the master of the house and as such will always exercise his will with fairness and truthfulness. You have no right to question him.
(Wouldn't it be nice if all husbands were ALWAYS fair and truthful?! And You girl, have no right to question him!!)
*A good wife always knows her place.
The Bishop thought this article was hilarious!! He recommends that I memorize it and put it all into play in our home.
:)
Make sure you let your hubby stay out all night, Sue. Remember, you have no right to question him or his integrity!! lol
Wait til you see Sue's own list...it's a feminist's worst nightmare!
What I'm wondering is...who did the underlining in the article...you or your hubby:-) ?
I'll be asking for your memorized version on Sunday.
Those last two are a little altered in our household; you'd have to ask my other half how I'm doing in knowing my place.
Must go get my heels on to serve supper....did I hear some nasty comments from the peanut gallery???!!!!!
That article was online already underlined. However, if The Bishop wanted to be the one to underline things it probably would have been very similiar! lol
That was quite an article. If I were to put a ribbon in my hair, help him off with his shoes and speak soothingly to him, he would think I had really lost it! And his topics of conversation are more important than mine? Nobody's topics of conversation are more important than mine....just kidding

Debbie...lol
Yes, I agree. I was wondering what on earth could be more important to talk about than Avon! ;)
